Herald VolleyBall club (HVC)

Herald Volleyball Club’s mission is to run quality volleyball training in a fun atmosphere that develops skills, builds character and self-confidence, nurtures friendships and helps young people understand the love of Christ. Our coaches are most of the Christians who play volleyball in the NYC. The students are mainly from Brooklyn and Manhattan, with a few from Queens, Staten Island, and Bronx who range in all levels from beginner to advanced.

English study buddies (esb)

English Study Buddies’ mission is to provide a positive community where the youth in the Chinatown (Manhattan) neighborhood can receive extra academic help during after-school hours and Saturday mornings. It is a free program which offers young adolescents individual attention and motivation to learn. Students can foster a trusting relationship with a mature Christian adult and build up confidence to converse in English more proficiently. Furthermore, students can have someone who can keep them accountable, help them to develop good studying habits and improve their English literacy skills such as comprehension, reading, writing and diction.

herald basketball club (HBC)

The purpose of Herald Basketball Club is to run quality basketball training in a fun atmosphere that develops skills, builds character and self-confidence, nurtures friendships and helps young people understand the love of Christ.  By participating in Herald Basketball Club, we hope to not only promote physical health and skill but engage them in meaningful relationships for the greater purpose of introducing them to the Gospel.  The coaches provide adult support and affirmation while interaction with other students in a team sport helps them to learn to communicate with others.
