Herald Youth has many different programs and ministries throughout the year. Within our meetings we encourage youths to develop skills, build character and self-confidence, nurture friendships, and help each other understand the love of Christ.
Herald Volleyball Club (HVC)
Herald Volleyball Club’s mission is to provide a positive atmosphere where students from all boroughs of New York can encounter the love of Christ while having the space to enhance their volleyball skills and establish relationships and friendships within the program. Our coaches consist of Christians who dedicate their talents and time to integrating volleyball with their walks of faith.
Herald Basketball Club (HBC)
The purpose of Herald Basketball Club is to offer quality training in a fun atmosphere that develops skills, builds character and self-confidence, nurtures friendships and helps young people understand the love of Christ.
English Study Buddies (ESB)
English Study Buddies’ mission is to provide a positive community where new immigrant youth in Chinatown can receive free English tutoring and extra academic help during after-school hours and Saturday mornings.
On December 1989, Chinese Christian Herald Crusades signed the lease to an upstate NY campsite offered by the NY State government. Vacated for eight years, the campsite needed a large-scale renovation. By God’s grace and working day and night, renovation on the campsite was completed in two months. In July 1990, the first summer youth camp at Camp Herald was held for seven weeks with over a hundred attendants. The original vision behind Camp Herald was outreach to the teens of NYC Chinatown by inviting them to experience camping outdoors while also sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ. These days, our campers comprise of youth from the different NYC boroughs and even the greater New York area. And after all these years, our mission remains the same: To share the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
